Drivers can help limit these emissions by choosing a car that is less polluting and maintaining it well.
One of the main reasons people buy cars is for independence and freedom. Without a car, you have to rely on others or public transportation, which can be inconvenient at times. Having a car also means you can go where and when you want without having to worry about making it on time. Buying a car does come with some costs, though, such as gas and maintenance. You may also have to pay for parking, which can be difficult to find in some places.
When you own a car, you need to be aware of all the safety rules and regulations, including speed limits, traffic laws, seat belts and driving under the influence. You must also make sure to keep your vehicle in good condition and maintain a valid driver’s license.
