What is Entertaiment?

Entertaiment

Entertaiment is defined by Bates and Ferri (2010) as any activity understood objectively, which encompasses communication between text and audience from an external stimulus that off ers pleasure, requires an audience to exist and occurs in a passive form. It is important for people to have time for entertainment, as it helps them relax from the stress of daily life and allows family members to spend quality time together.

Entertainment often hits on the points that our brains were evolved to react deeply too. It can include murders, backstabbing and other themes that were necessary to survive in a social world.
